Dolled Up Dandy

I started the idea of D.Up around 2006, after I recovered from a nervous breakdown. I was also recovering from severe depression and anxiety, and had nothing to do with my time but research and draw. I realised working for other people was too stressful on me, as jobs I had gotten I had to quit due to vomiting all the nights before and morning of my shift before going in, from stress.
So I decided to start my own business. Apparently it is comparatively easy to being small businesses in australia than other countries, so I wasn't too worried. I have a history of design and sewing, and due to heavy japanese influence on me through my father, I had found that I love japanese fashions, especially Lolita. So I began working on starting a fashion business.
This required I learn a lot more though. I did much study on patternmaking and machining, as well as fashion design and business.
Finally in May 2008, I registered Dolled Up Dandy.
